Professor Hui Wei from Nanjing University visited BEBC

At Professor Fei Li¡¯s invitation, Professor Hui Wei from Nanjing University visited BEBC on 2nd July, 2018 and delivered a report entitled ¡°Nanozymes: Nanomaterials with Enzyme-like Activities¡± in the 308 meeting room in the School of Life Science and Technology.
His report mainly showed
the design principle and application both in
vitro and in vivo of nanozymes. After
introducing development of studies on nanozymes, Prof. Wei discussed advantages of nanozymes in respects of biosensing and biomametics.
Then, Prof. Wei gave some examples of how nanozymes applied to construct sensor
arrays detecting biothiols, protein and cells.In the end of the report, he had
a heated discussion with teachers and students in BEBC. After that, he was
invited to look around the labs of BEBC.
